Dr. Mailan Tran is a California-licensed optometrist who provides care to the Southern California region. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a degree in Biological Science and then obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry.
While completing her degree, her internship rotations placed her in a diverse environment, including The Illinois Eye Institute, Palo Alto VA Hospital, and the Mount Ogden Eye Center. Her experience as an intern has allowed her to provide a broad spectrum of eye care for her patients. Upon completing her studies at the Illinois College of Optometry, she worked with numerous ophthalmologists in Southern California, gaining experience in comprehensive eye care, managing and treating ocular diseases, and cataract/refractive post-operative care. Her dedication to the profession has allowed her to be a sub-investigator in various research studies, including advancement in glaucoma, retina pathology, and dry eyes. Dr. Tran is passionate about striving for excellence to provide her patients with the best clinical experience.
