Dr. Samira Khan is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in treating diseases of the retina and vitreous. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from a seven-year Physician Scientist program from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical college in New York. She went on to complete her Ophthalmology residency at the esteemed Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. Her fellowship in Vitreoretinal surgery was at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago and then she stayed in practice there at North Shore University Health System as a clinic instructor. Dr. Khan specializes in potential blinding retinal diseases like diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. She is well versed in the latest diagnostic technology and treatments and strives to provide compassionate and individualized care to each and every patient.
